Love, Love, Love them
I'm new to Chief, so tried the mixed box first. All I can say is WOW! Now looking at setting up me scheduled delivery.
Taste is amazing, I don't have a favourite, love them all.
I have tried other protein or collagen bars and end up throwing away as they too thick or chewy and don't like taste.
Thank you for producing a product that tastes amazing and is good for me as well. 👍👍

They're made with a base of cashew nut butter and collagen protein which makes them packed full of essential nutrients which will fill you up unlike regular snack bars. They're completely free from artificial thickeners, fillers, preservatives, sugar alcohols, sweeteners and seed oils.

The best way to describe the taste would be like a nut butter biscuit. They're sweet but they’re very low in sugar because we use a natural sweetener, monk fruit.
What is Collagen Protein?
Collagen is an odourless, tasteless, dairy free protein source that's a co-product of beef. We like it because it's a great environmentally friendly option and easier on the gut than other proteins like whey.
Collagen protein is composed mainly of the amino acids glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline. We use grass-fed and grass finished bovine hydrolysed collagen peptides.
Who are Collagen Bars designed for?
Chief Collagen bars are a very healthy and natural snack that can be enjoyed daily by anyone. They're also great pre or post workout.
Are Collagen Bars suitable for pregnancy and breastfeeding?
While we're not allowed to give advice and you should always check with your doctor or health professional, there is nothing in our products that you would need to worry about. Some doctors might flag the camu camu which is a berry - the reason for this is it’s high in Vitamin C and you can have too much Vitamin C, hence the general advice on camu camu. We don’t use a lot, there’s 0.24g in each bar which is about 7mg of Vitamin C and the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C is 75mg for women.
In our view, all our products are very safe and from personal experience we've found them to be great for pregnancy and breast feeding. In fact, collagen is a fantastic supplement for mums who are growing human beings.
