He was born Nov. 20, 1943, in Franklin, to Weldon Adams and Dorothy (Conway) Brown. Wayne married Carol Ann Houshour on Dec. 23, 1964; and she lovingly survives. He also is survived by children, Steven D.

Adams, S. Suzanne Adams and Nathaniel (Lori) Adams; grandchildren, Zachary Adams, Sierra McVay, Midori Adams and Steven C. Adams; great-grandson, Weston Wayne Adams; and sister, Linda Lennon. He was preceded in passing by his parents; and sisters, Sherry and Beverly Adams. Wayne was a 1962 graduate of Franklin High School.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the nuclear submarine USS Henry Clay. He attended IUPUI and completed the IBEW Local 481 Electrical Apprentice program. He was employed by Barth Electric as an electrician and later as a field superintendent for 33 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Nineveh Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years.

Wayne was an avid outdoors- man. He enjoyed hunting and long-range shooting. He was a member of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association and competed on the Long Range Muzzle Loading World International Championship Team. He was also a member of the American Legion. A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m.

Friday at Flinn Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m.

Nellie L. Fisher KNIGHTSTOWN Nellie L. Fisher, 84, of Knightstown, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015. Survivors include two children, Rickey Lee and Deborah C.

Cooper; a sister, Helen Peyton; six grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery Dave Lee and Robert Larry Lee; and her husband, Kenneth E. Fisher. A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at G.H.

Garry Lee Hiott LAKES Garry Lee Hiott, 61, of Lakes, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015. Martin, 90, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2015. He was born Sept. 11, 1925, in Scottsville, Kentucky, to the late Bennie and Lexi Crabtree Martin. Drexel and Nettie Ree were married 69 years; and she survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Virginia Martin of Greenwood; grandson, Michael Rigney of Brown County; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. He enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, playing his guitar and listening to gospel music. Drexel was a machinist for 21 years at Thomas Green, retiring in 1991. His memberships in- clude GracePoint Church, Southport Lodge No.

25, 2015, at Fairway Village in Indianapolis. He was born March 8, 1929, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Grover Calbe and Burrell (Wilmont) Soliday. He married Eleanor Lucille (Heine) Soliday on Oct. 7, 1970, in Indianapolis. She preceded him in death on June 15, 2007.

He had been a truck driver for Teamsters Local 135. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard.

Survivors include his children, Jeanine G. Snodgrass (Mark) of Mooresville, Steven N. Soliday of San Jose, California, Erwin R. Kuehrmann of Washington and Deanna L. Coles of Indianapolis; three grandchildren; two brothers, Allan Soliday (Evelyn) of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and Chuck Soliday (Joyce) of Yutan, Nebraska; and sisters, Ruth Beirle of Aurora, Colorado, Betty Queen and Jean Larson, both of Omaha, Nebraska, and Bernadine Rueschoff of Gretna, Nebraska.

He also was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Kuehrmann. The Rev. John Eley will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 S. Morton St.

(U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.

Chris was born Sept. 24, 1957, in Indianapolis and was a 1976 graduate of Perry Meridian High School.

Chris worked at Rolls-Royce and GM for 30 years. His joys were motorcycles and building and riding steam engines. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 933. Survivors include his wife, Paula (Bauman) Stumpf; his mother, Rosalie Stumpf; a daughter, Andrea Stumpf; two granddaughters, Rosalie Mace and Kairi Ghent; a stepdaughter, Angela Fox; and a stepgranddaughter, Morgan Fox. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard.
